Innovate Now - Demo Day: cohort 6

Innovate Now has helped to launch many African assistive tech ventures over six acceleration cycles. This demo day is the culmination of the programme for cohort 6 - an opportunity for ventures to pitch their products and showcase the AT they are bringing to market.

During the Innovate Now programme, African start-ups receive mentorship, learning and expert guidance over a 3-6 month period to create market fit, scalable and investable Assistive Technologies.

A partnership between Global Disability Innovation Hub (GDI Hub), ICT Norway, Norad and Kilimanjario Blind Trust, Innovate Now is supporting the next generation of cutting-edge disability innovators to drive Africa as a technology powerhouse.

Increasingly AT is digital or requires digital capabilities. Cohort six is focused on digital AT are to support the inclusion of persons with disabilities. During this demo day ventures will present more about their product, innovation journey and user feedback - showcasing the potential and scope of the AT solution and what happens next in the rolling out of the product.
