GDI Hub joins the panel on AI-based motion analysis and prediction technologies at the EnTimeMent event on 19 Nov 2021

GDI Hub is excited to join the EnTimeMent Markerless Motion Capture (MMC) Campaign showcase event on 19 November 2021. The EnTimeMent Markerless Motion Capture Campaign consists of a 2-week series of feasibility studies and experiments investigating the recent innovative mocap technology by Qualisys and the novel techniques for movement analysis and prediction developed by the EnTimeMent Consortium. The showcase event presents the results from this 2-week "markerless motion capture campaign".

The event will also feature a presentation highlighted GDI Hub strategy by GDI Hub Academic Director, Prof. Catherine Holloway. Kate Mattick, GDI Hub MSc DDI alumna and the RSA Student Design Award winner will join the panel discussing the potential of the automated human-movement analysis and prediction for future assistive technologies

This will be a hybrid event hosted at Casa Paganini-InfoMus, DIBRIS, University of Genoa and will be live-streamed via YouTube.

EnTimeMent is a Horizon 2020 funded project consortium that aims to design innovative sensitive and interactive technologies enabling the automated prediction and analysis of human movement qualities, entrainment, non-verbal full-body social emotions, towards the foundation and consolidation of a radically new motion analysis technology.
