We work in 41 countries bringing solutions and expertise to the disability innovation space. Our flagship UK aid funded AT2030 programme is improving access to life-changing Assistive Technology for all. We have reached 28 millions since 2016, supporting products and innovators and working alongside local partners to deliver impact.
Programmes highlights
Working in 35 countries, our UK aid funded AT2030 programme drives a lifetime of potential. We've published 150 research papers and support AT products to market through mechanisms such as Innovate Now (Africa's first Assistive Tech accelerator). Last year we enabled the Paralympics to be broadcast to 47 countries across Africa for the very first time.
Disabled Leaders Network is a platform exceptional disabled leaders, creating a hub of information, knowledge and support. The network will provides a resource to build capacity and drive achievement beyond academia and into the workplace. Driven by its members, the network is an active community of exceptional disabled leaders doing brilliant things.
A global knowledge product from the Inclusive Education Initiative (IEI) - GDI Hub authored the ICT Landscape review exploring the use of ICT in improving the educational participation and outcomes of children with disabilities, including ICT supporting continued learning during COVID-19 related school closures. The report explores the potential of educational and assistive tech for tangible and successful learning outcomes for children with disabilities.
