Scale Innovation

The third stage caters for national-to-international ventures and investors, supporting catalytic funding and bespoke venture building support to take innovations to scale. Existing projects include the Assistive Tech Impact Fund, where we support large scale product trials, clinical trials, and research by sharing and harnessing our unique expertise and that of our partners, collaborators and coaches.

Assistive Tech Impact Fund

The Assistive Tech Impact Fund (ATIF) is a new mechanism to accelerate the AT market in Africa, supporting the most promising AT ventures in Africa through the combination of catalytic capital with expert-led venture-building.

ATIF aim to unlock new solutions for scale, building AT ecosystems and driving change in Africa, where need for innovation and access is greatest. Supported innovators to scale and demonstrating the need for continued investment in other low and middle income countries.

Lean Impact Measurement for AT: capturing the changes in the quality of life

This project measures the changes in a persons quality of life after being provided with AT. Up to 100 users from eight AT companies will share their stories around what has changed around the domains of work, play, leisure, self care, home management, daily living and overall life satisfaction. Findings will contribute our wider into 'What Works' research to get AT to the people that need it most. Find out more about Lean Impact Measurement.
