Andreas Polydorides
Andreas joined UCL as a PhD student in January 2022, having previously completed his MEng in Biomedical Engineering at Imperial College London. His PhD research examines the possibilities the DIY movement creates in the Assistive Technology (AT) space, with a particular focus on the comfort of wheelchair users. He is especially interested in 3D printing and digital manufacturing, as well as the Maker Movement.
Andreas has previously completed research internships at Imperial College London, CYENS Centre for Excellence and the Cyprus Institute.
He is a keen maker and 3D printing enthusiast, though he will venture outdoors for film photography and mountain views.
