Kate Mattick

Engagement Coordinator and Research Support

Kate joined the GDI Hub team after being part of the first ever cohort of the MSc Disability, Design and Innovation in 2019. Today Kate works closely with the head of events and GDI Hub researchers offering support with the day-to-day running of social media, events, special projects and research.

By background Kate is a physiotherapist and has a passion for global health, having worked in the UK and abroad on clinical and development projects in Malawi, Zambia, Belarus and Bangladesh.

Kate believes passionately in the GDI Hub vision for disability justice and is delighted to be part of the team.
