Mark Quinlan
Research Fellow
Mark Quinlan is a Research Fellow working on the AT2030 project within the GDI Hub at UCL, and completing his PhD in Cyber Security at Oxford University. A multi-disciplinary researcher whose interests include human factors of cyber security and wider applied computer science, his work ranges from connected and autonomous vehicle privacy through to the ways different actors conceptualise epistemic and phenomenological issues within cyber security.
Previously, Mark worked as a Research Associate for Cambridge University, where he focused on explainable Artificial Intelligence (xAI), as a consultant for BAE Systems on major technology projects for the British government, and as a software engineer on multiple private infrastructure projects. He holds an MSc in Business Information Systems from Royal Holloway University.
